The Every Day Method
Every Day
Energy
When your energy is low, everything feels harder than it should!
I have been a coach for 11 years and coached hundreds of women who have all struggled with their nutrition and energy.
Every Day Energy is a 4-week programme for women in perimenopause who are done with being exhausted.
This is a simple, realistic way of eating and living that gives you your energy back, because without energy, everything else falls apart.
This is where we start.
Not another diet. Not another plan. Just a way of eating that finally makes sense for you and your body.
Take my free quiz to understand where you're at!
What if nothing is wrong with you? If you're a woman navigating perimenopause and feeling exhausted by fitness and food rules, this is for you.
This is for you if...

- You show up every week but feel like you're getting nowhere and perimenopause is making everything harder
- You've tried everything but you're still lost, because every time you think you've found something, social media tells you you're doing it wrong
- You know what you should be doing, but it just feels impossibly complicated right now
- Food feels emotional, scary, overwhelming and guilty and you're exhausted by that constant feeling
- You're done with the guilt and the fear and you're ready for freedom!
- You're ready to start now, even when life is messy, busy and uncomfortable
- You show up even when you're not motivated because you know motivation is unreliable
- You're open to reflecting, learning and unlearning the patterns that were never really yours
- You want something sustainable that lasts. Not another quick fix
- You're done waiting for the perfect time.
You're capable of more than you think. The Everyday Method helps you get there - on your terms. For life.
I've been where you are..
I couldn't be living the life I am now if I hadn't changed my relationship with food and movement.
I've been on my own journey for almost three decades, and been a coach for 11 years. And in that time I've seen and heard so much from clients, from women in my community, from my own life - that I know one thing for certain:
Women in midlife are fed up. Fed up of feeling like what they're doing is wrong. Fed up of the scales dictating their worth. Fed up of the information they consume, even subconsciously, taking over their lives. Fed up with the fear thats triggered as soon as they go on a 'diet' that anxiety around every mouthful they take is wrong and going to lead to weight gain.
I help midlife women change that. Not with another plan. Not with more rules. But by genuinely changing the relationship you have with your body and food.
Because I've been there. The fear. The restriction. The noise. And I know what's on the other side of it.
Some days I skip the gym for a sunrise hike, because this journey is about finding what you love to, not worrying if you have ticked everything off this week.
When I 'dieted' I was too scared to live. I'd done everything to get there and then I was terrified to step on the scales in case that number had gone up. So I stopped living. Stopped enjoying. Stopped being present, because all of my energy, thoughts and fear went into a number on the scale, that I thought would make me happy.
I didn't know that was disordered eating at the time, I thought it was discipline.
I have learnt how to live my life fully and eat what I want without fear. Without the constant calorie counting in my head or even using calorie tracking apps.
Midlife had a funny way of burning down everything that wasn't really me. And what's left is this, a coach who has lived every version of this struggle, found a way through, and wants to show you what you can achieve!
My Story...

Are you fed up of living in food fear?
What if you’re not lazy. You’re just exhausted from trying.
There’s a difference between not wanting to change and being too worn down to try again.
Diet fatigue is real. It’s the exhaustion that comes from decades of starting over and over again. The mental load of constantly thinking about food. The grief of knowing what you should do and not being able to make yourself do it.
It sounds like:
• 'I know what to do. I just can’t make myself do it'
• 'I don’t even feel excited about anything anymore. It all feels too hard work now'
• 'I’ve tried everything. Nothing sticks'
• 'My body feels like it’s working against me'
That’s not a motivation problem. That’s a nervous system that has been through years of restriction, punishment and starting over and has quietly stopped believing things can be different.
The reason you keep stopping isn’t because you failed, it's because you're not 'being you' and trying to fit in someone else's box!

The Every Day Method is to set you free from that..
Is your every thought when you start a 'diet' consumed by what you did or didn’t eat. Where food noise follows you into every room.
I once wouldn’t let myself have the chocolate on top of a cappuccino. Not because I didn’t want it, but because I was afraid of it.
That’s not health. That’s a prison with no visible walls and it’s exhausting.
Carrying that weight every single day, the fear that has nothing to do with your body and everything to do with your relationship with food.
The Every Day Method is built to set you free from that. Not by giving you more rules, but helping you need them less. No control. No calorie tracking. No fear!

Most women believe fitness only works when life is calm. But life never stays calm - work deadlines, hormones, kids, fatigue, parents getting older, overwhelm, perimenopause… it all collides.
If your days feel more like surviving, juggling coffee, grabbing the 3pm chocolate hit, hot flushes, low energy, and endless to-do lists, you’re not alone.
Here’s what actually works: showing up imperfectly, consistently, and moving in ways that energise you, that fit around your life, not the other way around. This is the journey that helps you stop skipping meals. Stop fearing food. Stop letting the confusion and noise take up space in your head that should be full of something else entirely.
It doesn't just end at week 12 if you don't want it to, because this isn't a quick fix. It's the beginning of a completely different relationship with your body.
Here's what you get:
nourish
We're so quick to ask what we can remove, before we've ever looked at what we could add.
Diet culture taught you that getting healthier means taking things away. Less of this. Cut that out. Start again on Monday.
But that's never been the answer. And deep down you already know it.
Nourishing your body is about understanding what actually fuels your life - your training, your energy, your mood, the way you show up every single day.
Not rules. Not restriction. Knowledge that gives you freedom. When you understand how to eat for the life you're actually living not the perfect version of it everything changes. The guilt goes. The fear goes.
And food becomes something that supports you instead of something you're constantly battling.

Your journey

Weeks 1–4 Foundation
We build the base. Protein, fibre, fats, portion awareness — introduced one week at a time so you’re never overwhelmed. Your movement programme built around what you actually enjoy. Your Imperfect Week Tracker defined in your words.
Weeks 5–8 Deepening
We go deeper. The emotional eating conversation. Why you overeat later in the day. Why you’re gaining weight doing everything right. The perimenopause picture. Calorie awareness - not obsession. The midpoint review where you see how far you’ve already come.
Weeks 9–12 Transformation
Food freedom. Confidence. Identity. The big life vision. By week 12 you’re not just fitter, you think differently about your body and your life. We talk about what’s next. Because this doesn’t end at week 12.
This is about achieving things you didn't think were possible anymore.
Enjoying a meal with your kids without being in your head about every bite. Actually looking forward to eating, not dreading it. Moving because it feels good, not because you feel guilty.

Amelia
Before starting with Em, I was struggling with doing all the work and seeing no progress.. I was eating healthy, reading all the books, following Youtube videos, working so hard and nothing was changing. Now I have so much more energy and stamina and can handle what life throws at me.
If you're struggling through peri menopause and your fitness / nutrition goals feel out of reach, get in touch with Em... She has quite literally changed my life for the better and those around me can see it!

Emily has an amazing amount of patience and understanding. Emily has helped me develop a much healthier relationship with the scales, as this was a huge emotional trigger for me.
There has never been an expectation to make everything perfect, never an expectation to go on 'a diet' or to eat certain foods or cut anything out.
Esmay
I’d been through Slimming World, weight loss jabs and on and off diets since I was 18.
Restriction was just second nature to me. I hadn’t even realised how unhealthy my relationship with food was. Now I’m working out and eating because I respect my body, not to punish it.
I’m fitting 20–30 minute sessions around real life and actually loving them and feeling so much stronger.
I was a shell of myself on weight loss medication. My energy and mood are completely different.
This isn’t about shrinking myself anymore. It’s about showing up for myself differently. Respectfully
